From October 13 to 16, 2012, the bustling city of Addis Ababa became the center of attention for the global construction industry as it hosted the third Addis Build Construction Exhibition. Organized by Expotism, a Turkish-based company with vast experience in international exhibitions, the event took place at the prestigious Millennium Hall in Bole, Addis Ababa. This year’s exhibition marked the third time Expotism has brought this event to Ethiopia and the fifth time it has been held in Africa, underscoring its growing significance in the region.
The Addis Build Exhibition brought together a diverse array of 45 companies from various corners of the globe, showcasing the latest advancements and innovations in the construction sector. Among these, 27 companies hailed from Turkey, reflecting the strong presence and influence of Turkish enterprises in the industry. The remaining exhibitors represented countries such as Ethiopia, Italy, Korea, Norway, Germany, and China, highlighting the event’s international appeal and the global interest in Ethiopia’s rapidly expanding construction market.
