About Our Project
At Ethel Events & Communication, we are committed to sustainability and eco-friendly event planning. In honor of #EarthDay2022, we reflect on one of our most impactful projects: the Symposium on Development and Implementation of Integrated Watershed Management Plan for Upper Sululta Watershed, organized for Nestlé Waters.
This event emphasized environmental stewardship, sustainable water management, and corporate responsibility, reinforcing Nestlé Waters’ dedication to ecological preservation. Our team at Ethel Events designed and executed a sustainable, visually captivating, and eco-conscious event experience that set new standards for green event planning.
How We Completed The Project
We meticulously planned every aspect of the symposium to minimize environmental impact while maintaining an elegant and professional atmosphere:
Eco-friendly event design was prioritized, utilizing locally sourced and reusable materials for decor and branding. Backdrops were crafted from bamboo and adorned with live vines, later replanted, while the event podium was innovatively covered with a biodegradable material derived from banana peels. Sustainable centerpieces featured green apple arrangements in glass spheres, adding a fresh, minimalistic, and nature-inspired aesthetic. Furthermore, every material used was locally sourced, significantly reducing the event’s carbon footprint and supporting local artisans.
“Sustainability is not just a concept—it’s a responsibility. At Ethel Events, we ensure every event we manage leaves a lasting impact on people, not the planet.”
