From November 19 to 22, 2014, Addis Ababa became the center of sports enthusiasm as we proudly organized the Great Ethiopian Run Sport Expo at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center in Meskel Square. This four-day event was a vibrant celebration of Ethiopian athletics, bringing together sports enthusiasts, professionals, and brands to honor the country’s sporting heritage.

How We Completed The Project
With our expertise in event management, branding, and sports entertainment, we meticulously planned and executed an expo that captured the spirit of Ethiopian athletics. From the grand opening ceremony to interactive sports showcases, every element was carefully curated to maximize engagement.
🏆 Legendary Opening Ceremony – The expo was inaugurated by Ethiopian sports icons Haile Gebrselassie and Derartu Tulu, whose presence elevated the event’s significance and drew massive crowds.
🥊 Exciting Boxing Match – A highlight of the event was a friendly boxing match between Haile Gebrselassie and Derartu Tulu, offering a unique and lighthearted moment of sportsmanship.
📸 Autograph & Photo Sessions – Fans had the rare opportunity to meet, take photos with, and receive autographs from their sports heroes.
By combining interactive activities, engaging exhibitions, and star power, we ensured that the Great Ethiopian Run Sport Expo 2014 became an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
